Taco Bell Testing 3 Exciting New Items

"

"

Taco Bell's first birria-inspired taco and the reintroduction of the Beefy Crunch Burrito have thrilled fans in the past two weeks. Taco Bell fans may now try three new options.

"

"

The fast-food restaurant recently tested a Mexican BBQ Flatbread Melt, Three-Cheese Flatbread Melt, and Shredded Beef Grilled Cheese Burrito. These new products are exclusive to certain markets.

"

"

Taco Bell is testing both Flatbread Melts in Dayton, Ohio, and the Shredded Beef Grilled Cheese Burrito in Oklahoma City.

"

"

Fast-food restaurants usually employ similar testing to see whether inventive new dishes will be successful enough to roll out more widely. If the new foods do well in test markets, Taco Bell may introduce them nationally.

"

"

The Mexican BBQ Flatbread Melt has grilled and marinated chicken, a spicy new Mexican BBQ sauce, and a three-cheese mix (cheddar, mozzarella, and Monterey pepper jack) melted over a warm flatbread.

"

"

Taco Bell's Creamy Chipotle sauce, chicken, and three-cheese blend are in the Three-Cheese Flatbread Melt. Flatbread Melts are $2 each.

"

"

The Shredded Beef Grilled Cheese Burrito features Taco Bell's new shredded beef, slow-braised and spiced till soft. Taco Bell's green sauce and melted three-cheese combination top the tortilla. A $5.59 burrito is advised.

"

"

Taco Bell consumers nationwide now experience the new protein in other ways besides the Oklahoma City-only Shredded Beef Grilled Cheese Burrito.

"

"

Last week's birria-inspired Grilled Cheese Dipping Taco included shredded beef. At places that provide it, other Taco Bell products may be modified with the new meat.

"

"

The chain may pay part of your cost even if you dine elsewhere. New Jersey is the only state with a Taco Tuesday trademark registration, so Taco Bell lovers there will not be able to use DoorDash.
