Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) made a funny correction to Christopher Wray when the lawmaker stated that the FBI director actually worked for the Department of Homeland Security.
The lawmaker grilled Wray sharply about a pro-Palestine event that took place at the US Capitol last month, claiming that it constituted an uprising, during a hearing on Wednesday.
She displayed a poster of a purported text message from the Southern Poverty Law Center's chief attorney that indicated the group's participation in the demonstration.
Wray said he didn't use Twitter much when Greene asked him if he had seen stories of the discussion involving the "Global Intifada group" on her X, the defunct Twitter account.
Wray responded angrily, "I'm not part of the Department of Homeland Security," to her incredulous statement,
"I'm sure you do, because the Department of Homeland Security, organized with other offices, has censored many Americans, including myself."
