The Grizzlies were positive despite defeating the LA Clippers, a squad that has had trouble integrating James Harden. Morant's continued participation in team dinners, film sessions, and practices is partially to blame for that.
For reasons unrelated to Morant's abilities as a two-time NBA All-Star, that has improved team morale.
